A propos to Lil Blume's upcoming workshop on March 4th at Temple Sinai, we are encouraging members to write personal and family memoirs as they relate Canada. I will be collecting and compiling these stories on behalf of the Canada 150 Project. This is a Canada-wide initiative in celebration of our 150th anniversary in 2017. Societies, clubs, history groups, churches, synagogues etc. are urging their members to document personal stories about Canada. These stories will be digitized and then preserved by the National Archives of Canada and placed on their website for everyone to access.
